Forrest Ingram
Forrest L. Ingram, the founder and president of the professional service corporation FORREST L. INGRAM, P.C., began concentrating in bankruptcy law in 1981 as an independent associate of a bankruptcy boutique firm. He handled every aspect of business and consumer bankruptcy—chapter 7, chapter 11, chapter 13. He helped consumers to be relieved of the burden of their debts, either through immediate discharge in chapter 7 or through a chapter 13 repayment plan. He helped corporations and individuals with business interests reorganize their businesses through chapter 11 and emerge stronger contenders in their respective industries.

In January 1994, Mr. Ingram founded Forrest L. Ingram, P.C., adding attorneys to the Firm as the need arose and expanding the practice into new areas. Mr.Ingram’s aim was to maintain a Firm of three to five attorneys who could give personal and team attention to each client’s concerns, and to engage the services of competent like-minded attorneys to serve as “of counsel” when the need arose.

The Firm’s motto, “Friendly and Professional”, describes how the Firm’s attorneys and staff view the services they perform for clients. They will listen attentively and analytically to what the client says in an effort to understand precisely what each client needs.

While being “friendly,” the Firm’s attorneys approach the client’s problems with exacting professionalism, analyzing the facts and researching relevant law in order to devise the best strategy for achieving the client’s goals. The Firm will tell the client what it believes the client can and cannot achieve by legal action. The Firm does not advise clients to undertake any legal action which it does not believe will be effective and financially beneficial.

The Firm keeps its clients informed of the status and progress of the client’s case, and always seeks the client’s approval of any settlement or other action affecting the outcome of the client’s matter.

Although it is a small firm, Forrest L. Ingram, P.C. extends its ability to serve clients by maintaining a network of professionals (mainly attorneys and accountants) who can supply diverse specialized services for the Firm’s clients in such areas as taxes, probate, domestic relations, and class actions.

The Firm believes that clients deserve better from legal professionals than they oftentimes get. By living up to its motto of “friendly and professional”,the Firm commits itself to give its clients the most competent, effective, caring, and mind-easing legal service in the Chicagoland area.
